It can be very expensive to buy a notebook computer, especially if you are a student, and do not make too much money. As a result, the best thing you can do is find the best offer; one which allows you to buy a cheap computer which is able to deliver a solid performance. Before you make the purchase, you should know the way in which you intend to use the computer. If you like to play games and watch movies on it, then you will need to choose a computer that can deliver a solid performance. On the other hand if you are on the go a lot, then a portable computer will be a better option. Do not buy a lightweight computer if you like to play games, because such a computer will not be able to deliver the performance you desire.

Once you figured out what type of computer user you are, you need to choose a brand of computer. The 3 main brands are Dell, Sony, and HP. They make excellent computers at affordable prices. For example the entry level has an i3 processor, the mid-range, an i5, and the high quality level an i7 processor. They are similar, but one is better than the other. The same can be said about the memory, which ranges from 4GB to 8GB.

You can also choose a computer based on the screen; if you like to use it for entertainment purposes, a larger screen will be more suitable.
