You cannot configure a computer to have an Intel Core i7 processor, as long as the standard processor for that computer is an Intel Pentium 3 and it doesn’t support better processors than Intel Dual Core. The same thing can happen with the memory module. You can’t go for a 12 GB memory, if the computer supports only 4 GB. Even if you buy chips that include 3 GB one, you will not be able to equipp your system with 12 GB.

Dell lets you customize almost anything. Also in terms of warranty and other services provided by Dell, you can choose the desired warranty period and services that you would like Dell to offer. You get one year service basic plan, if you go for the standard warranty or you could get three year basic service plan, for extra 119 dollars. This is the period recommended by Dell to be the best as a warranty period.

For two year basic service plan, add more 69 dollars. Additionally, you will get advanced in-home service after remote diagnosis. When you’re done personalizing the computer, order it and wait one to two weeks to get it. This is the standard period for a customized computer to ship. If you want urgently a computer, you can benefit of the Fast Track option, but you will not be able anymore to select your preferred components and services.11
