In terms of appearance, the laptop has a 15.4 inch widescreen along with some blue lights in the edge and on the left bottom that indicates the power button, charge and disc activity. There is a button that allows you to turn off the touchpad just in case you are using a mouse and you want to avoid any kind of accidents – there is also a red light that attentions you when the touchpad is off. The novelty at this laptop is the sensitive buttons that are built into the chassis.

The keyboard at the V6000 is one of its best features due to the fact that the keys have space between them and feel firm at touch, things that give comfort to its users. The screen is high gloss and for this reason it isn’t as good as other laptops; you can say that it’s a reasonable feature.

In the pro camp, the ports are very good located and well-labeled. In the front you will find the microphone and headphone, there is a switch for turning the wireless on and off; unfortunately, the Bluetooth is missing at this model, having instead Infrared. You can find a five in one card reader (SD, MMC, MS, xD), a mini FireWire, USB 2.0, modem and Ethernet sockets. There is also a HP Expansion port, a VGA output and S-video output.
