Dell XPS Laptop

One of the Dell laptop specials is represented by the Dell XPS laptop. This laptop can be configured in the way you want, while still keeping a path provided by Dell. So, the processor can be up to Intel Core i7 with 1.73 GHz. Windows 7 is the operating system provided by Dell, but you can choose beween a home edition, a professional edition or an ultimate edition. The memory can have up to 8 GB and the chipset comes definitely from Intel too. It can be Intel PM45 with Centrino 2, Intel PM55 with Intel Core i7 processor or Intel PM55 with Intel Core i5 processor.

The graphics is delivered by ATI Mobility Radeon graphics card and the display has 15.6 inches, providing different display resolutions. The most used is the 1920×1080 display resolution. Other resolution is 1600×900. The sound can be heard via computer’s integrated stereo speakers with subwoofer. The hard drive provides 256 GB or 500 GB storage space. The Dell laptop specials include of course the Wireless and Bluetooth technologies.

The computer is powered, when it’s not connected to an electrical power source, by the batteries, which can have 6 cells or 9 cells. The 6 cell battery lasts about 3 hours and 81 minutes. The 9 cell battery lasts 4 hours and 51 minutes. Make sure the computer provides enough space for a 9 cell battery. This depends on the other ordered components, because every part of the computer must be connected with the motherboard, so they have to fit perfectly inside the computer.

The camera and the microphone allow you to stay in touch with everyone. The computer has a lot of available ports. Let’s name a few of them. 2 USB compliant ports let you connect to this computer other electronic devices which are also based on the USB technology. Besides those two ports, the computer also has another USB port, which presents an e-SATA connector with Power Share. Other ports or slots: a VGA connector, an IEEE compliant port, an integrated network connector, a display port, an HDMI port, which lets you connect the computer to other video or audio sources, an AC adapter connector and audio jacks.
