Refurbished Dell Computers

A Dell laptop computer delivers the same performance whether it is new or refurbished. And when it comes to Dell refurbished computers, you can stay relaxed because at Dell’s all the computers that come back to the factory after the leases are over, are retested, so that you can benefit of a good product. Some people are afraid to buy used computer, because they have the false impression that the performance delivered by the computer is not as coming from a new computer. In fact, this is not true at all.

The performance is exactly the same as the performance delivered by the same computer model if the computer is produced today having the same features as it used to have three years ago, for example. The battery may be depleted, but you change it and the problem is solved. And you don’t have to worry about changing the battery, because Dell does it for you. When you buy the computer from the Dell Outlet Center, you can be sure that you will receive a computer having all the components new or if they aren’t new, ther are at least retested.

The difference from a new computer and a used computer that has new components is the fact that the computer which is new has the processor replaced by a new model, the hard drive replaced by a larger hard driver, the memory running at a faster speed and so on. A used computer has the same components that were used three years ago. So, you can’t compare the performance offered by a used computer, which is on market for more than three years with a computer which is found only on Dell website, that is also used, but has components created in this period.

For example, let’s say you want an Inspiron computer that uses a memory of 1 GB. The amount of memory is not that great, not that bad either. You don’t have enough money to buy a new computer (the new computers can use even more than 4 GB) and you choose to buy a used computer, logically from Dell website.

You have two variants of purchasing the computer. Either you buy the laptop from the Dell website and you can be sure the computer will have tested components and some of them even replaced by some new ones or used in other computers, but which are still performant, or you buy the computer from a computer website, you don’t receive warranty for it and you don’t get the chance of contacting the Dell reps.

That computer you are supposed to buy from Dell can use the memory, which has been used by the previous user. If the memory test fails, then the computer will be enhanced with another memory module, containing the same amount of memory of 1 GB.

If you buy a new computer model, you simply can’t benefit of only 1 GB of memory, because the memories used today for computers have more than 4 GB. This is why a new computer can’t be compared with an old computer. But a used computer can be compared in terms of performance with the same computer produced several years ago.11
