Used Dell Laptops

Buying Dell used laptops is a cheap way of getting a good notebook for a fair price. Used laptops may not have the same warranty period and return policy as a new laptop but they help you save some hundreds of dollars. There is a huge number of websites that sell Dell used laptops at low prices which vary from one website to another.
On www.laptopoutlet.com you can buy the Dell Precision M90 laptop for as low as $699. This unit has a 2.13 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor and 2 GB of RAM which can be upgraded to a maximum of 4 GB. The graphics card is the nVidia Quadro FX 1500M with 256 MB of video memory and the capacity of the hard disk is 100 GB. The laptop has a 17 inch display with a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels. Other features are the DVD burner and the integrated wireless card. for $47 extra you can get a 3 month additional warranty and even a 6 month extension to the warranty for $89.

If you want to pay an even smaller amount of money, you can go with the used Dell Latitude D800, a very old Latitude model which appeared back in 2004 and it used to be one of the hottest business notebooks on the market. It was priced at almost $2,500 and now you can get the used models for as low as $369. It’s true, the price of laptop has dropped severely so I’m guessing in 4 years from now, we can buy an Alienware model for $500.

The Dell Latitude D800 is based on a 1.7 GHz Intel Pentium 4 Mobile processor and 1 GB of RAM which can be extended to a maximum 2 GB. The storage capacity of the hard drive is 80 GB. Compared to the model above, this one has a better selection of ports and connections because aside from the 3 USB ports, the Dell D800 also has an external monitor support, a serial port, a PCMCIA card support, a parallel port and a DVD burner.

Another website with good deals on Dell used laptop is www.pcexchange.com. For $529 you can buy the Dell Latitude D630 laptop with a 1.8 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 1 GB of RAM and an 80 GB hard drive. The nicest part about this website is that you can customize some of the features and get extra goodies for some extra cash.

For example, the standard RAM is 1 GB but for an extra fee of $27 your memory will be upgraded to 2 GB. For $24 the store will add an USB webcam and for another $9.99 you also get an internal Bluetooth Receiver Upgrade. You are also allowed to extend you warranty period. The standard warranty covers one whole year but for $89.99 you can extend the period up to 2 years.  Another $17.99 and you can get a Dell Nylon Laptop Bag and for $24 you can get the Dell Laptop backpack.11
